The RAB has two free tickets to give away to the 2012 Audio Branding Congress, and is also offering a RAB discount for anybody else who may be interested in attending.
The Audio Branding Academy (ABA) has announced the submissions for the second International Audio Branding Award, to be presented at the 2012 Audio Branding Congress in Oxford on the 11th of December.
The day-long event will be moderated by Julian Treasure. Julian has been featured widely in the world’s media – Julian is chairman of the Sound Agency, a UK-based consultancy company that helps clients like BBC, BP and Coca Cola to achieve better results by optimising the sound that they make. Additionally, Julian’s TED talks on sound have been viewed an estimated two million times.
The submissions for the award are from eight countries (Germany, UK, USA, Brazil, Spain, India, Denmark, Finland, and Switzerland) and include some of the world’s most famous brands such as Harrods, Dell and Nokia, along with global leaders such as TUI and The Linde Group.
A shortlist of six finalists will be selected by an independent jury of audio branding experts, and will be announced on the 19th October. The gold, silver and bronze awards will be chosen on the day by a live vote from the Congress participants.

ABC2012 will be hosted by Oxford University and will be the fourth annual event of its kind. Around 100 professionals will gather from all over the world to hear talks and discuss the theme “Listen to consumers”.
